I'm a software developer who hates software. I try to be well-read and am ostensibly a musician. I'm a trans woman. I like trees and bushes and the birds that live in them and I like my cat and I like Lisp. I'm vegan btw.

I think writing, and more generally being able to follow and craft long trains of thought on complex topics, is a powerful skill, especially in the era of AI slop. This website exists primarily as a sandbox for me to practice longer-ish-form writing on whatever interests me while also furthering the decentralization of the internet.

This website was built using Hugo and the elegant XMin theme, and is hosted on sourcehut pages. A goal of this website is to avoid Javascript, although I do use a local copy of KaTeX to render LaTeX on relevant pages. It will forever remain black text on a white background.
